Georgica Pond - the name

For those of you wondering where the name comes from - it originated in the Hamptons. During a trip there in 2002 I was driving around behind completely absorbed and becoming obsessed with this beautiful area and found this expansive coastal lagoon surrounded by the most spectacular houses. There are many similar ponds in the area, but the name Georgica Pond just spoke to me and so I used it to represent the blog and all the dreams and aspirations for it.
