On another note, as I'm still swooning over pretty things at the moment, Thibaut (probably my favourite fabric house EVER) have added to their range of to die for fabrics and wallpapers, with a gorgeous line of furniture recently launched at High Point Market in the US. Classic, timeless and oh so elegant. I want one of everything. This is definitely helping me narrow down my focus.
They have also a beautiful new fabric/wallpaper collection called Richmond - classic American design with reverence for British style, which looks fabulous paired with Thibaut's geometrics. Achingly gorgeous!
I can't tell you how much I would kill for that mirror and that bamboo chest.
I am searching for an ottoman for our king size bed but can't find one long enough. This is just what I want!
I love the mix of fabrics, patterns, materials, textures and colours in this room.
There's that mirror again - taunting me.

That's just how I want my house to look! Well, I can dream can't I.
I have all my Etsy bought stencils sitting in the cupboard gathering dust, because I'm too afraid and too knackered to get them out and try them. I see all these heavenly papers and think how much easier it would be just to whack them up on the wall, but oh the expense. So I must brace myself for the task and do some experimenting.
Anybody had experience stencilling walls and can share useful tips about the right tools, methods of application, best paint etc would be most welcome!

Stencilling anything in the third trimester frankly sounds nuts! How about Laura Ashley's lovely range of wallpaper that is all currently on sale? Not Thibaut admittedly but some of the prints are in your colourway. melx

Yes Mel a girl can dream, and I agree the expense! Unfortunately for me with one child at Uni and the two boys in private school, I can only dream and live vicariously through you and your blog(lord I'm a sad case). The whole house is looking great! I'm with Mel stencilling anything whilst pregnant is nuts. Sit back and relax the stencilling can wait. Have a lovely weekend. Your sad stalker Traceyxx
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty settings! I'm going to have to spend some time pinning these.
