Two's Company

There has been a lot of images of twin beds doing the rounds and I have a fairly substantial collection. Not that we have room for twin beds in our house but I so love the concept and the decorating possibilities they present in a room, I can't help but be drawn to them.

I was tempted to put our two kids in one room together, which would give me a spare room for an office plus a nursery, but the rooms aren't really big enough and then I would be restricted to gender neutral decor which doesn't excite me much.

I do think twin beds are perfect for a guest room though. Maybe the next house....Here's a few of my favourites.

  3. My eldest 2 shared a room when they were little - and such mischief that they got up to! Toys would be tossed asunder, schemes were plotted. That is never shown in these beautiful images of perfect rooms! xx

  6. So beautiful! I've done two beds in my little boys room & I think it looks great but even better so practical when they are sick or finding it hard to sleep as you can sleep in the other one! Love your blog! LovT

  7. Thank you so much for the eye candy! I love Phoebe Howard, but every time I look at her rooms I feel like I live in a certifiable slum, or a building that should be condemned! haha.
