The pull of pretty

So many things I could and should be doing this week - particularly as I only have about 6 weeks left until things get a little more hectic and I have no time for anything. But then there's rooms like these that tempt me....

But instead of being productive and crossing things off my lengthy to-do list I spent most of my day today wasting time and whiling away hours on Pinterest and getting completely absorbed in pretty pictures. I didn't even finish the post I had planned on bathrooms.

I simply sat down to look for a paint colour at about midday and before I knew it, it was getting dark and time to collect the kids! Where did the day go? I did manage to take my husband to the airport so I accomplished something, but I have to admit to a secret pleasure when he's away that I don't have to feel as guilty about spending hours on the computer putting images into my inspiration folders, when I should be doing something more useful. What he doesn't know won't kill him!

I have become much more active on my Facebook page lately, because I found that it's a great way to post just the single photo I find that delights or inspires me, and that I can just share because I love it rather than feeling I have to build a whole post or story around it.

So check out my FB page and keep up to date and don't forget my Pinterest page too.

I will endeavour to finish that bathroom post tomorrow - provided I don't go MIA in Pinterest again. I can't promise anything though.....
