So I am determined to come up with some craft inspiration for Easter, although given it's next week I'm not sure how far I'll get! Particularly as I have spent much of this week at hospital visiting my sick Dad. But I want to think about something other than curtains and lamps for one minute!
I trawled back a few years and found some things I did for Better Homes & Gardens and The Australian Women's Weekly a few years back, just to get me in the craft mood. Watch this space.....

Hi Melinda, love the Easter ideas but I really love the chair used in the images. Can you tell me where it is from? Chrissy x
ReplyDeleteAww , very nice. I love craft & have passed this onto my kids..its a great past time if there is a spare moment....mmmmm I dream of having spare moments, LOL!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the little things that you created for those magazines in your "other life". I need to think about styling my table for Easter!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Melinda - what talent you have! If you do end up doing some crafts this weekend, would you mind sending some over Stateside as I'm off on holiday with the kiddos and haven't even thought of Easter! Hope your Dad is feeling better.

Easter is next week omg...were has the time gone. it is hard to walk past the craft section all the ribbons and buttons perhaps just a small Easter bonnet, display or basket for the teacher...have the best weekend...Cate
ReplyDeleteNeeding to get a little Easter decorating going on in my house...thanks for the inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteJust side-stepping slightly from your lovely self confessed digression... did you have any success finding curtain poles that don't look cheap and nasty? I'm at my wits end and can't believe that Laura Ashley that has such great ones in the UK don't seem to stock anything unless you're paying them to make your curtains here, and nowhere seems to have anything remotely as lovely as those at Restoration hardware???!!! Surely somewhere must have something????
ReplyDeleteSorry for taking so long to get back to you re this - only just resurfaced after all the drama of my Dad's health. I have found some really good, solid and quality looking rods over the years at Spotlight believe it or not. They have a couple of sizes, and extendable ones too and I have just bought some for home. They are about as simple and classic as you'll find around and very reasonable.
DeleteI love all the pretty Easter inspiration
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Melinda, enjoy the break & don't eat too many Easter eggs!
