TIme for something beautiful. I found this lovely beach house in La Jolla, California on a great blog I follow called Belcaire House and thought I must show you. I think it's a beautiful, classic, comfortable home and shows that despite being right on the beach, you don't have to be a slave to typical beachy decorating style, and can still elude to the beach lifestyle with the right colour palette, furnishings and decorative touches. Enjoy the tour.

PS A friend mentioned she hadn't received any post updates since Oct 4 so I wondered if anybody else had experienced this problem. If so, please let me know and I'll try to get to the bottom of it.

I love the beach house - especially the black vanity and the oversized carriage light in the first picture (always obsessing about lighting!). I think the cabana is going to look amazinglove the cabana already , wonder if I can talk my husband into one?!
ReplyDeleteThe decking is HUGE - I bet you will practically live there when it is all done. And a pool cabana is such a charming idea! Looking gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning home. The aquas and whites are just superb. I don't know how that home would go if there were kiddos involved though.
ReplyDeletethis is a home I could move right in and not change a thing, gorgeous and the view is a million + dollar view, that is for sure, Kathysue
