One of the gorgeous photos I saw on Judy's blog recently was a fabulous navy and orange setting, which set me on a path in search of inspiration for boy's bedroom colour schemes. I then saw a striking navy and orange post on Style at Home and it got me thinking. Our son, Charlie, 4, is set on red, yellow and blue for his bedroom and I'm still struggling with the challenge of meeting his colour expectations. So I thought I'd try to find some colourful but stylish options I hope he might consider! Navy and orange seems to work in so many applications. Here's just a few I found.

Melinda, Love navy and white and I must say all of the above images are done really well, but this gal can not do Orange, it is the one color that for some reason I can not live with. I think it is a fun combo and I know you will do it with impeccable taste!!Funny how certain colors just don't sit well and others are absolute loves. ReplyDeleteMelinda, Great post, so many beautiful pics all in one place. I'm sure your sons rooms will be fabulous and can't wait to see them.I love the deep blues with a bit of orange. Like the orange boxes under the white console with the chevron rug. That rug by the way, are carpet tiles from FLOR, and would be great for a kid's room. And I'm sure they'll ship to Australia.
