A White Christmas

My husband hails from the UK and as such we often go back there for Christmas. Our trip this year was extra special because we had the most magical white Christmas. We stay with his family in the beautiful city of Bath. It was so breathtaking waking up and opening the curtains to see the whole village covered in thick white, glistening snow - for a bunch of Aussies it was pretty spectacular.

This was the view stepping out from our guest cottage about 7am.

My brother in law went for a swim in this later that morning - what is it they say about mad dogs and Englishmen!

I'll post a few more pics in the next few posts - as the day warmed up it became even more amazing.
