Sledging in the Snow

With the village blanketed in thick white powdery snow, there was nothing to do but grab the sledges and head to the top of the nearest hill. So all the kids donned their winter woollies and trudged up the lane through the village to the top of the hill. It was a wonderful sight to be welcome by dozens of children and their families all with the same thing in mind.

This was Charlie's first experience at sledging - he wasn't very impressed!
